#10 Chicken Soup
Yes, the same chicken soup our grandmother’s fixed for us is the same chicken soup that works! Web MD says that chicken soup helps fight colds, clear nasal congestion, and thin mucus to help loosen it and get it out of your system.
Chicken soup is also an anti-inflammatory, which can help ease symptoms of upper respiratory infections.
I like to boil my chicken to make a good chicken stock, seasoning with salt, garlic, pepper, and olive oil. Chicken stock contains zinc, which helps fight a cold!
After my chicken is cooked, then I cut it up and add my vegetables. Some of my favorite vegetables are onions, garlic cloves, celery, carrots, mushrooms, bay leaves, and parsley.

#9 Oscillococcinum
(Called Oscillo on their website)
Oscillo helps boost the immune system, reduces the severity, and shortens the duration of flu-like symptoms.
I take Oscillo anytime I start feeling symptoms of a cold, flu-like symptoms, body aches, headache, fever, chills, and fatigue.
The sweet taste of Oscillo is acceptable to all ages of my family, it’s almost like sugar crystals. This is great news for any mother or father trying to give a natural remedy to their child.
#8 Umcka Cold & Flu
These chewable tablets taste good and really helps shorten duration and reduces severity of colds, sinus, throat and bronchial symptoms. This includes cough, congestion, sore throat, nasal and bronchial irritations.
Umcka Cold & Flu helps speed up the recovery time of symptoms: cold, sore throat, sinus, bronchial infection, flu symptoms, chills, fever, stuffy nose, congestion, cough, headache, hoarseness, minor aches, pains, sneezing, and runny nose.

- Lemon & Ginger Tea
The Throat Coat Tea is amazing!! It soothes my throat from the first sips. It has some of the most recommended herbs, such as slippery elm and marshmallow root.

Bonus: my all time favorite and soothing tea right now is Green Ginger Tea! I drink this tea every day and it helps me relax!!
